I love music.

I am especially obsessed right now with Brazilian music, especially MPB of the 1960s, especially Nara Leão, Sidney Miller, Chico Buarque de Hollanda, Edu Lobo, and Quarteto em Cy. My desert island discs (can this desert island please be in Brazil and have electricity and a record player?) are Nara’s Pede Passagem (1966), Manhã De Liberdade (1966), Vento de Maio (1967), and Coisas do Mundo (1968); Sidney Miller’s Brasil, Do Guarani Ao Guaraná (1968); Chico Buarque de Hollanda’s self-titled debut (1966); Quarteto Em Cy’s De Marré De Cy (1967); and Edu Lobo and Maria Bethânia’s Edu e Bethania (1966).

I also love Tommy, Paul McCartney solo albums, Neil Young, Japanese jazz, Aldous Harding, Bill Callahan, Serge Gainsbourg, Low, Yo La Tengo, and the Phantom of the Paradise soundtrack.

I release my own music as Single Pigeon. I recorded an LP called On Two Sides in the summer of 2025. I made it completely by myself, doing literally everything except for the flute solo. You can find it on Bandcamp and on streaming. At the time of writing, my favourite of my own songs are the two from my debut EP, Sillys Place.
